Dealing with cheaters
We will come right out and say it: no one likes a cheater.
We use various measures, including advanced technology, special partnerships and community features to ensure that fairness is baked right in to the WorldGaming experience. When you play with us, you can play with confidence.
Here is how we manage our gameplay environment:
Friendly, smart, and able to play Capture the Flag for 16 hours straight, our sharpshooting Community Engagement team helps keep WorldGaming safe, secure and easy to use. To get help, log in to your WorldGaming account and open a support ticket. We have your back 365 days a year.
Our WorldGaming Community Engagement team constantly monitors site activity and takes any claims of cheating or bad conduct very seriously. Investigations that expose poor gamesmanship can result in a penalty or a ban from WorldGaming.
That is how serious we are about fair play. We take care of the details so you can relax and have serious fun!
What type of actions will result in a penalty?
In order to create an even playing field for all players, WorldGaming uses a comprehensive penalty system to prevent players from gaining an unfair advantage and to ensure a fun and safe place to game. In-game cheating, claiming a false win, submitting false evidence, or player fraud and harassment of other players will result in penalty. What is the penalty for in-game cheating, claiming a false win, or submitting false evidence?
If a player is found guilty of violating any of these conditions, a 30 day suspension will be issued to that player and their opponent will be automatically awarded the win.
What is the penalty for player fraud such as manipulating ladder?
If a player is found guilty of ladder manipulation, that player will be penalized by receiving an account suspension of 30 days. Repeat offenders will be permanently removed from the WorldGaming site.
What is the penalty for player fraud such as creating multiple accounts?
The creation of multiple accounts by a player is in violation of our Terms & Conditions and will result in the termination of those accounts.
What is the penalty for harassment, such as the use of inappropriate, offensive, abusive, racial, hateful or violent language?
If a player is found guilty of harassment, such as the use of inappropriate, offensive, abusive, racial, hateful or violent language, that player’s account will be suspended for 30 days. Repeat offenders will be permanently removed from the WorldGaming site.
What is the process in which the above penalties are reviewed and enforced?
Once a dispute is received, it is thoroughly reviewed by one of our Community Engagement Specialists. In order to correctly and efficiently solve a dispute, players will need to provide some form of evidence to support their claim. Once a dispute resolution is determined by a Community Engagement Specialist, it is reviewed by a team lead for final approval. All players involved in the dispute will then be notified of the outcome of the dispute decision. Please keep in mind, that if your match or ethics are in dispute, failure to submit proper evidence may result in your opponent being awarded the win. We therefore recommend that all players keep a detailed record (videos and screenshots) of all matches, match cards, game play, scoreboards, and match history.
